Complex Trauma Therapy
With Judilin Bosita, PsyD, LMFT
I’m a complex trauma survivor, and therapy changed my life. I do this work because I know what it’s like to feel broken, alone, and unsure who to trust. Also, I know healing is possible.
Do you feel constantly on edge?
Struggling to relax even when life is calm?
Maybe you’re finding yourself in relationships that repeat old pain.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. If you’re ready to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.
Clients Come to Me When They
Feel alone
Continuously spiral
Struggle in relationships
Are anxious + stressed
Don’t trust themselves
Are hypervigilant
Have trouble calming their emotions
Feel stuck or trapped
Complex trauma can come from repeated experiences that were impossible to escape, moments that forced you to adapt by hiding parts of yourself just to survive.
How I Approach Complex Trauma Therapy
In our work together, you won’t have to relive your trauma or tell me every detail (you’ve already survived it). My job is to help your body and mind release the grip it has on you safely, gently, and at your pace.
You decide when and how to move forward. I’ll help you notice what’s happening in your body, build skills for regulation, and learn to trust yourself again.
Modalities I Use
-
Helps you reconnect with your body’s natural intelligence and complete stress responses that were once interrupted; restores a sense of safety and control.
-
Teaches the nervous system to return to balance after activation; supports resilience and self-regulation.
-
Builds awareness of your body’s cues for safety and danger; helps you shift from survival mode to connection.
-
Explores how early experiences shaped your self-perception and patterns in relationships; deepens self-understanding.
-
Develops practical tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness; supports stability day to day.
-
Strengthens your capacity to trust, connect, and set healthy boundaries.
Healing trauma doesn’t mean rushing into the pain. It’s about learning to meet it with curiosity, safety, and compassion.
